6840-X stuck at boot

Hello

We have an new 6840-X which is stuck at the system bootstrap.

The console displays:

"System Initializing

System bootstrap, Version 15.2(02)SY [Rel 1.0], RELEASE SOFTWARE

Current image running: Transformer Boot Rom : Upgradable Region

Last reset cause: Front Panel Reset, reset code 0x2"

We have tried to power cycle the unit and reset thru the reset button.

Any suggestions?

Hi - how did you resolve your issue? Did you have to RMA the switch?

Hi Andy

Actually it was quite simple. After initial setup and reboot the active console port switched from USB to serial even though I made changes to console port setup. But when I used the serial port instead everything was ok :)
