7206XVR PA-GE performance

I have a 7206VXR NPE400 with two PA-GE (one in slot 1, one in slot 4 so distributed). It also has a 2 port FE IO controller but both ports are shut down and not in use.

What kind of performance should I expect out of the GE ports? I can't find any actual numbers, just a mention of 'moderate performance'. I can't seem to get more than 310-320Mbits/sec on these ports (both running simultaneously) and before I start to try to do a lot of tuning I am wondering what I should expect as far as throughput? It seems to cap out in the 320Mbits/sec range with both input and output drops.

The issue may be due to the congestion on the links or there may be many packes queued at the output interface of the 7206 router. Make sure the collsions are not caused due to any hardware related problems or duplex problems.
