Is there a way to get automatic information when 802.1x fails?
From ISE or from switch?
E.g. our older 2960x switches show "%AUTHMGR-5-VLANASSIGN" logs, so from there I could filter which switchports are assigned to failover VLAN.
But I do not get such logs from C9200, C9300 switches.
Is checking the ISE-logs manually the only way?
Thanks.

As @marce1000 is already on to your logging level is probably set too low. The default for Cat9k switches is "Warning" or level 4. To see these logs you will need to raise them to include notifications(level 5) by configuring "logging history 5".

On c2960 the default logging history is also warning and there I get this log.
On c9300 it even is not shown with logging level notifications.
