I have a 867VAE-K9. On feature navigator it is listed as supporting OSPF. However when I go into config mode and type "router ?" BGP is there, but OSPF is not. Also, under my tunnel interfaces there is no support for any OSPF commands such as "ip ospf cost" etc.
I'm in the process of raising a TAC, but has anyone else seen this before? I have tried five or six different versions of IOS code that is available for this device, in each, we never see OSPF listed but sometimes see "router odr" or "router lisp"...
See attached screenshot..

86x routers, like their predecessor 85x, do not support OSPF and other protocols. That is Cisco marketing decision, stated in data sheet, and cannot be changed.

Thanks Paolo,
The feature navigator shows that it is supported, which is why I purchased three of them.
Do you have that data sheet?

Tony,
Paolo is correct (+5P )
I ran into this issue too
Look at the data sheet
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps380/data_sheet_c78-693249.html
Under an IP Basse Lic it is static,RIP1&2
Under the Adv Sec LIC you then get BGP
NO OSPF

Alex.

Thanks for the link.
Still doesn't provide insight into why feature navigator states OSPF is supported, as per my screenshot. All I am seeing here is a conflict of published information.
If the case is that OSPF was never supported then false advertising IMO.

Cisco Tools can bring wrong information. Usually if one is persistent enough, can have them corrected.
