When entering any command into the console, the output in my putty session is delayed, even when spamming enter for a new line, it will take some time for the console to catch up.
This switch isn't connected to the network, it is just on my desk. There are no hosts connected to it. CPU usage is at 0%.
If I issue 'Show run', and spam the space bar, I have time to grab a coffee, and about half way through the show run it will stop with no error, as if it thinks it gave the full output. I'm not talking about the initial delay when issuing the command. I can see each character get printed out, at a rate of about 30 characters per second
Is there some setting I can change to increase the output speed of the console?

Could be a computer problem. Try a different computer/laptop.

Well I'm silly, I rebooted my computer and it's all good. I forgot the first step in IT.
my PC was running hot, too many high cpu/memory apps opened.
Thank you

Edit
This issue popped up again almost immediately when I was trying to do my show run commands. Realized that I was saving the session output to a network drive. Changed the output to a local destination on my laptop, and it sped right up. copying the output to the network drive after completion.
