9600 led indicating port beacon

I have a pair of 9606 switches configured for VSS.  They are connected to a pair of N9K-C93180YC-FX over port-channel 1 in a server room.  And connected to another pair of N9K over port-channel 2 in another server room.  Each server room has 4 connections in the port-channel.  The status light for two of each of the four connections is blinking amber-green, indicating port beacon.  What is port beacon in this instance?  There is not a port beacon command to turn on/off.

All four are in a port-channel.

Can I see the output to the command "sh interface Twe 1/0/44 controll"?

twe1/2/0/44 and 2/2/0/44 are indicating port beacon.  In next response I will show one that is not indicating port beacon.

Please ignore the discard errors.  We were exceeding the capabilities of an interface on the nexus, we moved the offending server to another host, and I had not rest the counters.
