How to perform a hard factory reset on a SG500-52 switch?

I've looked everywhere and everyone talks about it as though I have access to this device. I do not and need to perform a hard factory reset. Any ideas?

So far I've held down the reset button for 30+ seconds while plugging in the power. I started to hold it down right before I plugged in the power.

Hello,

you need to press the reset button for more than 10 seconds with power on.

To restore the switch configuration to the factory default settings:

1. Disconnect the switch from the network or disable all DHCP servers
on your network.
2. With the power on, press and hold the Reset button for more than 10 seconds.

Like the OP I have an SG 500 that is not responding after more than thirty seconds any ideas
