AAA Web Authentication on Cisco 3850 switch fails

Hi all, 

I have an issue in which the radius-based authentication works fine for SSH but it doesn't work for web login. When I change it to local-based authentication then I am able to log in. I have tested the following:

Disabled and enabled the http and https server but it didn't fix the problem. 

Added the command ip http client source-interface vlan 7 (this is the management VLAN and default-gateway is set to VLAN 7's SVI/gateway)

The error I get is as below: 

%WEBSERVER-5-LOGIN_FAILED:Switch 1 R0/0: : Login Un-Successful from host XX.XX.XX.XX  by user 'XXXXX'

the firmware version for the switch is  16.3.6.

Which commands are you using? If you want to use the radius/tacacs, thy using the following commands:

ip http authentication aaa login-authentication default
ip http authentication aaa exec-authorization default
