No. Cisco contracted SFP maker Finisar to manufacture a batch of SFP with Cisco's own special IDPROM values injected into the SFP.

Does this mean they are Cisco supported or not? I have some SFPs with vendor names such as CISCO-FINISAR, CISCO-AVAGO, CISCO-MOLEX and others. For some of them I can find their SN in CCWR and others with the same vendor ID just don't show up.
