access lists on routers and cisco asa

Hi all, I have been configuring access lists on bth cisco firewall any my routers, Am I right in saying that the firewall does not use wildcard masks for acl's?

Do routers still need to use wildcard masks ?

That's correct. Routers are inverse, and the ASA isn't.
