Accessing a Catalyst 3750

I'm trying to mapp out a network and I have a catalyst switch I need to access. The only information I have is that it is not ip addressed. It is accessed through port 49 VL220 I have the password but don't know how to interface with it with out a ip. I could use a consul cable but have been told I should be a to access through the port using ethernet

If it doesn't have an IP address then you can't manage it by telnet. You'll have to console into it.

Yes, without IP no telnet.

If you are not sure, you can check if he really have no IP , but only if cdp is enable.
