ACL on both sides of wan interface

Hi all,

i have router its  wan interface has 2 ACL  in and out direction.

my question is it ok to have acl on both directions of single interface ?

will it work for both directions?

It is supported to have ACL's applied upon ingress and egress on a single interface.

I generally try to keep all ACL's as ingress ACL's but in some cases an egress ACL may need to be invoked to satisfy design requirements.
