Hello,
I currently have a dual homed fex which is connected to two 5596s with a single link to each in a VPC. I need to add a link between this fex and each N5K so that I'll have a total of 4 links in the VPC between it and the two upstream switches.
Is there a best practice for doing this on a live system in production? Is this something I can expect to do without causing a service interruption to the servers connected to the fex?
Thanks!

You can add these in without disruption there basically uplink port-channel ports , all your doing is adding more throughput extra link , should have no effect on your servers as the current links will stay up and just bundle in the new links as there connected , once your config is a mirror match you should be fine
