Dears
i have 2 4507 switches with multiple VLANS, i configured recently the 2 cores with HSRP for redundancy after configuring HSRP clients could not get an ip address even the ip-helper address command is configured under the SVI on all vlans taking in consideration that we did not have any issues before configuring HSRP, the setup as follows
(2960 users switch) ==> 4507 core switch ==> ASA 5510 (OS 8.x) ==> dmz switch ==> DHCP server
thanks

So it worked fine before HSRP , rule out a bug in HSRP by setting VRRP will only take a minute if the issue is still there with 2 protocols its probably not that but something blocking it , any changes made to the FW , DHCP port numbers are allowed through
Have you ran debug dhcp detail or used a wireshark to make sure the offers and requests are coming through the FW ?
can the clients still reach the dhcp server ok
