Hi guys,

my current stack consists of 2x WS-C3750E-24TD and 1x WS-C3750G-12S.
I would like to add 12 Ports of 10GB SFP+ SR somehow.
Is there a 10GB SFP+ SR fiber distribution switch that is compatible
with my stack?

Many thanks!

How many 10Gig SFP+ ports do you need in this new switch?

Hi and thanks for your quick reply.

For the first step I would like to have 12 x 10GB SFP+., maybe 3560E-12D?

Many thanks!

Hi,

Ok the issue is here that none of the 3750X series switches support 12x10Gig SFP+ ports.

The max 10Gig ports on these switches is 4 and that is usually used for uplinks.

Your can get a 4500-X with 16 ports SFP/SFP+.  The only issue is you lose the stacking capability.

see data sheet:
