adding a 3750 to a stack

When attempting to add a 3750 to an exsting stack of 4 switches, I had an issue where I removed the stack cable from the 4th switch connected to the new switch which is going to be the 5th switch. Once the new switch had the stack cables connected I powered it on. I then did a sho switch and the 4th switch thought it was removed from the stack.

switch 1 is the master priority 15

switch 2                                14

switch 3                                13

switch 4                               12

switch 5                                11

Hi,

You can have a look at the followind document also:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/products_configuration_example09186a00807811ad.shtml#stack3

This will explain you how to add a switch to stack as member or as a master.

Hope that helps.
