Hi,
our network is all EIGRP and we are swapping Cisco ASA devices for Checkpoints. Anyone else been in this situation before? Interested to know the path you took? Options I see are, swapping over to OSPF or Redistribution.

Hi Lee,
While I haven't been in this situation before, I would say that running OSPF on the EIGRP router connected to the Checkpoint and doing EIGRP->OSPF redistribution is a workable solution. If your existing EIGRP deployment works nicely for you then I do not think that a network-wide migration to OSPF would be worth the effort just because of a couple of firewalls.
Are there also any routes beside, perhaps, default routes, that are to be advertised back from Checkpoint back into your network?
Best regards,
Peter

Thanks Peter,
sorry for the delay and appreciate the feed back. New job and its busy! The plan is to redistribute until we have moved over to an OSPF only solution! Should be fun.

Hi Lee,
Okay - good luck, and keep me posted about how things are working out for you!
Best regards,
Peter
