Alleid Telesis SFP (AT-SPBD10-13/AT-SPBD10-14) Module Not Working with Cisco 9200 (C9200L-24T-4G-E/A) and Cisco (3650-24T)

Good Day,

I am using  Alleid Telesis SFP (AT-SPBD10-13/AT-SPBD10-14) transceivers between Cisco two 9200 (C9200L-24T-4G-E/A with latest IOS images) and also tried on Cisco (3650-24T with latest IOS images) but without any success. I followed the procedure (see below)  as mentioned in the Allied Telesis document, but still no luck.

How to enable the Cisco switch to use Allied Telesis SFPs

Despite the displayed error, there are two undocumented commands which you can use to enable Cisco switches to use the SFP port, and the Allied Telesis SFPs:

First: #service unsupported_transceiver.

Second: #no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid

AT-SPBD10-13

10 km, 1G, SMF, BiDi, LC
(1310Tx/1490Rx)

AT-SPBD10-14

10 km, 1G, SMF, BiDi, LC
(1490Tx/1310Rx)

Any idea what am I missing?

Hi Asif,

Unfortunately, not all 3rd party optics work with Cisco equipment. I use this company (fs.com) and the products usually works well with all vendors equipment. The products are also reasonably priced.
