Am I missing something with the 3560X Visio Stencil?

Hi All,

Just updating my latest network diagrams and the 3560X stencil looks like it's half finished.

Compared to the old 3560 stencil I think it looks terrible.

After seeing it for the first time I thought I would be able to add in the C3KX-NM 1G and 10G Modules but I can't find them anywhere, the 48 gig ports look as though you should be able to drop something in them as well.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Hi Chris,

Those are Visio connection points for attiching wire lines.  They won't print.

Hi Flavio,

There are no existing Visio shapes for the 3560G series.  It seems that none were created before my company took over Cisco's Visio production 4 years ago.  The product group never requested them and these products were listed as end-of-life as of January 2012.  Product groups typically don't fund production for devices that are EOL so I'm afraid these will not be created.  I wish I could be more helpful.

they're still not in the 3750 Visio stencils.

I would imagine that after 3 years this would have been figured out by now.

I am trying to find a contact in the product group that can approve and fund updates to the 2900 Visio stencil. I can't tell you when or if this will happen but I'll do my best. We work for the product groups and cannot proceed unless they authorize it.
