Sorry about the elementary nature of this question, but I can't seem to find an answer.
I have a 7603 currently loading ROMMON from the gold region, with regions F1 and F2 marked as INVALID. My question, is if I upgrade the ROMMON version to region F1 and/or F2, and mark one or the other as preferred, if they don't work (ie the file is corrupt or something), will the device automatically proceed to then load ROMMON from the safe gold region?
My worry is that if I mark region F1 as preferred and it were to fail, then the device is um, less than usable. Thanks,
