Anyone got NTP working with a Windows 2008 NTP server?

I'm trying to sync the time on our routers and swithces with a Windows 2008R2 server, but it doesn't work.  Has anyone managed to do this:

Config:

ntp master

ntp update-calendar

ntp server 192.168.2.164

sh ntp associations

Windows 2008R2 server

Doesnt work

Woudl Linux like Ubuntu be better?

Microsoft's "interpretation" and understanding of the NTP standard is incorrect.  You're better off configuring your core switch to go out and get NTP synchronization and let your Windows boxes to synch to your core switch for better result and accuracy.

Hello Nicholas,

I have made the change proposed by you, modifying the LocalClockDispersion value from 10 to 0.
That made synchronize my switches with the Windows 2008 DC sucessfully.
I had a little trouble with my partner about this change, because he's the DC administrator and he though that change was not healthy to the DC, reason why he made a roll back.
However, some days after this roll back I noticed that my switches still were synchronized with DC with no problem.
Maybe it can be an alternative to achieve sync our switches without affecting the DC with any changes.
