AP 2802 are not joining cisco 3650 WLC:

here are the message am getting from the switch:

CAPWAP-3-DISC_UNSUPPORTED_AP: 1 wcm:  Rejecting discovery request from unsupported AP

Please help!

from the datasheets.... WLC 3650 can control AP 2802... please the SW version from both devices:

Hi

AP 2802 can be supported by WLC 3650 but you have to check with which sw version of the WLC. Sometimes after an sw WLC upgrade the AP is no more supported

Does the AP have lightweight (K9W8) or autonomous (K9W7) mode software, For it to joining a WLC it needs to be a lightweight so support CAPWAP.
