Launching an application and getting below error while connected via IP phone. But when connect PC directly application work fine. What could be the issue? phone is registered

"Warning

You are unable to run this program because the local IP Address 169.254.x.x

Please contact your network administrator"

Switch port configuration

switchport mode access

switchport voice vlan y

- Well the PC seems to be using a link-local address , indicating it does not get DHCP or and does not have a working connection to the Intranet network.

Actually PC had IP but when launch application it gives 169.254.x.x IP error. issue is resolve by re installing NIC driver. kind of weird issue

Hello

Do you have dhcp active for voice vlan?, if you are not sure then remove the cisco phone and change the access vlan to the voice vlan and connect a pc.

no switchport voice vlan y
switchport access vlan y
