Why do switches use ARP? Why do they need it?

Hi @ahmadqayyum7 ,

When a device needs to know the MAC address of the destination, it occupies the address resolution protocol (ARP).

The switches occupy ARP to discover the MAC addresses of the devices connected to them. With this information they maintain an ARP table, with IP addresses and MAC addresses, achieving faster communication between devices.
