Hi,

To run a 2511 with remote access server supported IOS

The file name is c2500-c-l.122-26c.bin

I think you should save your existing IOS to the tftp as there is no longer any link to that IOS

on the Cisco download site.

Hi,

Your replacement IOS require 8M DRAM & 16M FLASH

Your router has 16M DRAM & 16M FLASH.

From the show ver
"cisco AS2511-RJ (68030) processor (revision K) with 14336K/2048K bytes of memory."

Add the 14M + 2M ==16M DRAM

"16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read ONLY)" = 16M FLASH

So you are good to go.

Remember when you tftp the new IOS to the router you
will NEED to allow the process to erase your flash.

You only have 2M free left on your flash so accept the erase.
MAKE SURE YOU DONT LOSE POWER DURING THIS PROCESS

For your own practise may be better to copy the existing IOS back to your
TFTP server before attempting the upgrade.
