I have a requirement to create a 2gig connection to an ASR from a Catalyst 3750x. I have the port-channel set up on the
3750, but i'm unsure of how to go about making the port-channel on the ASR. It appears as though VLAN load balancing is
the only option here. I'm not sure how to go about this....and does this do the same thing? I'm, in basic terms, just trying to
create a 2Gb connection from my 3750 to my ASR. I'm just not sure how to go about it. Can someone please help.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi,
What version of Cisco IOS XE are you using?
You need Cisco IOS XE Release 2.4 or later to do LACP
Here is the doc for more info:

How can I tell which version it is. I am showing a 12.2(33)XNC which doesn't reflect the same type of number
your showing above. Do I need to look in a different spot to find this? I apologize up front for my ignorance on this issue.

Try "show ver" on your ASR. This should show you what version of the IOS XE you are running

Looks like I can't find it. This is what I show when doing a sho ver:
Cisco IOS Software, IOS-XE Software (PPC_LINUX_IOSD-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version
12.2(33)XNC, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
Flash shows:
12 -rw- 236929284 May 23 2009 11:43:55 -05:00 asr1000rp1-adventerprisek9.02.03.00.122-33.XNC.bin
Does the 2.3.0 on the line of flash indicate that it's 2.3.0??
Thanks again Reza for your assistance. I do appreciate it.
