Hi !
According to our special conditions, specific IP Address should be assigned to specific ports
I mean, any guest which connects its computer to a specific port (e.g. Gi 0/4) should get a specific ip (e.g. 10.10.10.1/24) and no other ip should work
the story behind is:
we have a device which works with IP addresses and we want all guests to get some predetermined ip addresses.
we dont want to give userbanes to them or get their mac and set a binding.
the commn thing between them is the port the connect their laptops to.
switches are 2960 and 3750
dhcp is on switch (i dont think it works if we have MS dhcp server)
Thanks

Hi Mohammad,
If you want specific device to have specific IP all the time, then you can assign static IP address per device. You can also put the specific group in a vlan and assign the specific ports to that vlan. This will separate them from your users, but they will not get the same IP every time.

Hi Reza and Thanks
There is a guest room and we dont like to bother the guests (i mean i do not want to go to them and say ok give me your laptop let me set your IP address for using our resources, )
all things should be done in the best automated way
you know this is not a major problem just i got curios.
if there wont be any way i put those 2 or 3 ports in a specific vlan and assign a pool to it with only 3 addresses and then assign permission to those addresses
thanks anyway

My thoughts were right along with yours. Set up a DHCP pool on the switch for the guest. You include or exclude how ever many IPs you want within the DHCP subnet. You would have to make a layer 3 SVI just for the guest or provide another way to route the VLANs.
