Folks,
Two ports in C9300 SW is configured as channel. Its channel port seems not support auto qos trust dscp. After the channel is created, the switch got the below message if auto qos trust dscp is entered at physical port. Question is if this auto qos trust dscp still can work? Thanks
W01(config-if-range)#auto qos trust dscp
Warning: add service policy will cause inconsistency with port TenGigabitEthernet1/1/2 in ether channel 11.

- Could you try to configure the auto qos first on both ports and then make the channel (afterwards) ?

"On attaching a service policy to an EtherChannel, the following message appears on the console: ' Warning: add service policy will cause inconsistency with port xxx in ether channel xxx. '. This warning message should be expected. This warning message is a reminder to attach the same policy to other ports in the same EtherChannel. The same message will be seen during boot up. This message does not mean there is a discrepancy between the EtherChannel member ports."
However, auto QoS is not supported on etherchannel members so keep an eye on it to make sure it is working as you expect it to:
"Auto QoS is not supported on EtherChannel members."

@balaji.bandi "Auto QoS is not supported on EtherChannel members." My understanding about it is, the uplink config has only two options: One is to configure it as channel without auto qos, second is to configure auto qos without channel. The two options can be configured at the same time.
If so, auto qos at downlink port config on the whole switch would be not significant unless no etherchanel is used. Did I understand it correctly?

@marce1000 Yes, If we configure auto qos and then channel, the "Warning.." would not appear. So there are two ways to config the port. but I feel the effect between the two ways should be the same. If we want to test the effect, what command is better?
