Hello Experts,
i have the scenario with one core L3 switch in one site and two switches in other site , the two sites are interconnected with two fiber link (L2), I would setup an automatic backup between the two sites, could you suggest me one solution?
I thought :

Quick question on site 2, Switches are stacked ? or they are individual ?
if they are stacked you like to have L2 - ether-channel does the work for you.
if they are L3 interface you can run any IGP like OSPF between switch then auto fail over happens automatically.

Hi BB,
thanks for your reply.
The two switches are individual and i'm not sure that they are L3 management.
do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

The two switches are individual - is this possible to configure port-channel between these 2 devices ? why you can not stack them ?
is the end devices connect to these switches ?

I'm asking on second site to give me information about the kind of the switch and if they are in stackwise.
I will update you.
No, end device are not connected on these switches
Thanks

Hello BB,
finally i have got some infos about the real scenario, it is here in enclose.
I have to work only in MYSITE because we cannot change anything in the site1 because it is another provider with other customer running.
So based on real scenario picture what can i do in MYSITE to have an outomatic backup on backup-line ?
Can i put a nexus switch as sw1 and sw2 in MYSITE?
Is possible to put a L3 6500 for example then the sw1 o sw2?
Thanks in advance for your suggestion.

Ok i have looked at your new Diagram.
Questions :
My site to Site 1 , are these Links are L2 extended or L3 P2P link ?
depends on requirement, you do not need Nexus here, if this is not server environment,( you going to over engineering with cost).
You can deploy 6500 here if you have high density modular requirement. (but end of life soon)
If not major port requirement, you can consider Cat 9300 or Cat 9500 depends on budget.
You can run HSRP with IP SLA to track uplinks and Do the Traffic Engineering. ( again this solutions depends on how you connected to SITE1)

Hi Belaji,
thanks for your reply.
The links between the two sites are L2 . Cam I apply always HSRP with IP SLA or not? If yes can you share an example refereed to my scenario?
Thanks in advance

Can you provide what devices these are ? can this possible MYSITE can connect each other like stacking ? or Trunk between Switches ?
Post device models, show version and possible running config of both the device.
how is your other network your side MYSITE ( do you have any device connected behind this switches or end devices ?)

Hi Georg,
i mean that we have two link between the two sotes ans one is the main and the other one is the backup, whenthe main has a problem backup link should come as main link , redudndancy i mean.
But the scenario is one switch in site 1 and two individual switch in site two.
Thanks
