Greetings

In this oportunity I came for your wisdom, I have a creative hability for Cisco Switch but I dont know if it really exist. I want to know how to maintain automatically updated the descriptions of my switchs, and I ask if the Switch has a host conected in a interface for example "Int Fa0/1" and the Sw has his MacAddress in his CAM Table, why he dont resolve by ARP in the router to obtain the IP host and then talk to the DNS Server to solve this IP to a have hostname and then automatically add this hostname to the description in the interface. With this way i avoid to type de name of the user in every port in the switch. If this hability exist, please tell me what are the commands to execute it.

Thanks
