I have two models of router, both ISRs - 2921s and 4451-Xs, running 15.4(3). The 2921s are running 15.4(3)M3, while the 4451-X models are running 15.4(3)S3. To simplify my QoS statements I'm hoping to use bandwidth qos-reference to restrict the available BW on an interface and use percentage values in the class sections of the policy-map. This exists on the 2921 routers for all the interfaces, but only on Tunnel interfaces on the 4451-Xs, and I'm tyrying to use on a physical one.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I could use? People setting these things up may not be co-located where I am, and I can't predict what specific model of hardware they'll have - so I need something that'll work on both.
