BDI and HSRP support on ASR903

Hi,

Did you encounter any problems with running HSRP over a pair of ASR903 running BDIs ? Are there any caveats that I should look out for? In may case in seems that standby router is accepting the frames to destination vMAC address of the HSRP group.

If you have any thoughts on this please write the down.

We are also facing some issue with HSRP running over two ASRs in which one interface is portchannel and other is BDI. In every one hour the Standby HSRP router tries to become active and go back to standby. CISCO TAC recommended for normal timers of 1 and 3 instead of current one (250msec and 750 msec) which is very aggressive. BDI interface cant handle this as per TAC.
