What would be the best practice to migrate the STP root (primary and secondary) for my VLANs to 2 new switches and migrate the HSRP (active / standby) to these new multilayer switches with minimal interruption to the service.
Should I move first the layer 2? or Should I move first the layer 3?
What is the effect when I change the HSRP version from 1 to 2 on my active HSRP? I know that the virtual MAC address will be changed, how long last the convergence from version 1 to version 2?
