BFD and OSPF on VLAN interface

Hello,

I'm tryng to enable BFD for OSPF on a SVI on a Catalyst 6509 Sup 720.

Even if the vlan interface accepts the configuration command "ip ospf bfd", no BFD neighborship is established and there is no way to set bfd intervals.

Has anybody encountered the same behaviour?

Well It's funny, look at this output:

Vlan305 is up, line protocol is up

Internet Address 10.119.200.2/24, Area 0

Process ID 100, Router ID 10.119.253.12, Network Type BROADCAST, Cost: 10

Transmit Delay is 1 sec, State BDR, Priority 1, BFD enabled

Designated Router (ID) 10.119.253.11, Interface address 10.119.200.3

Backup Designated router (ID) 10.119.253.12, Interface address 10.119.200.2

It says that BFD is enabled on the specific VLAN where we configured it but no matter this, no BFD neigborship is established.

Well,

it seems like a problem that I've found some weeks ago on SRB1. The BFD feature was configurable, but not effective. That bug maybe will be corrected on SRC. In your case, I don't know, but my advice is to check the Bug Toolkit, or open a case.

Just for me: SXH modular version?

Hmm ...

Try to upgrade to SXH2a.

Unfortunately I don't see a specific bug, but maybe is a DDTS bug internal only.
