BGP - Load Balance or Load Sharing

Claudio A.

Hi All,

I need a help to define the best way to configure one new router in our customer.

The scenario is: provide a ISR4331 with IOS SL-4330-IPB-K9 to connect at two ISP (different companies) with BGP protocol. My question is: Can we configure a load balance feature with two different ISPs and different AS prefixes? or Load Sharing?

Regards

Hi,

You can load share between the 2 ISPs.

Have a look at this document for drwaing and config examples:

Yes, but to do so with different ASs you need to use a secret/hidden command, bgp bestpath as-path multipath-relax.
