Managing an internet network requires the buildup and maintenance of large prefix-set/RPLs. This is typically automated by tools that gather info from IRR DBs and populate the routers' filters. My question is related to the size of the final configuration. What's the maximum size of an IOS-XR configuration? Is there a way to somehow compile the prefix-sets in a way that the manual "show configuration" is still usable? There's a "show run exclude <feature>" but it requires that we specifiy the prefix-set we want to exclude instead of just removing the prefix-set configs from the command output.
There are customers/peers with as-set resulting in hundreds (some are in the 1000s) of aggregated prefixes.
