BGP/OSPF default infor

in  my CE (customer edge ) router, I have both OSPF and BGP enable, I want to advertise default route, should I use  default-information originate

under OSPF or should i put under BGP, what are the difference? thanks

Hello

I am assuming the cpe igp is for your internel network if so I would suggest advertise the default from ospf as this would allow propergation of it to your internal network 

It can be done from Bgp however by default it won't automatically be injected jnto Ospf  even if your redistributing as only ebgp routes get that luxury ! And you would still need to the advertise default from ospf anyway however it would  use the bgp default as rib placement as such if you lost the bgp default the ospf default would be removed also 

fyi - you do have other options to advertise defaults into your network
