hi
on one of my router, cat6500, I have configure bgp and eigrp. they redistribute to each other. the bgp also has a default route from another bgp router as backup link.
I can not test by cutting off active link, and currently, I can not see any advertised route or received route from cat6500 and bgp router.
I do not know if it is bacause the eigrp metric too high? or because the my bgp to neighbour has any problem? the only thing I know is I can see bgp neighbour, but can not see two bgp router advertised route to eachother.
Could anyone give me a advice?
Any comments will be apprecaited
Thanks in advance
Julxu

Julxu,
Ok, your BGP Peering is not established. Your peering is in active mode which is not good.
post "sh run | sec router bgp" from both routers"
or "sh run | b router bgp"

Hi Julxu,
Can you post "sh ip bg sum"?
can you also post "sh run | sec router bgp"?
