BGP to OSPF route redistribution - move from rib failure to active

Because a BGP route route in r> (rib failure) status is not redistributed into another routing process (i.e. OSPF), how long does it take for that route, once it is moved from r> (rib failure) to *> active, before it is dynamically  placed into the OSPF routing table?

I don't know for certain, but I think it is pretty quick.

Thanks for responding.  I have bigger problems one of which includes too many redistribution points
