HI there;
Has anyone used a Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT) to generate serial traffic to a router? Ideally I would like to use the BERT to test across the serial link (422)to the router and then over to the 3750 switch and then back again to the BERT! Not sure if this is possible! Can a router be used as a Bit Error Rate Tester on a 422 serial line? Any information would be great.
Thanks

Bit error rate testers are devices or procedures that measure the bit error rate (BER) for a specific transmission but Router bits are rotating tools that are available in a variety of profiles and shapes. I think router can not used as a Bit Error Rate Tester. If you will do like that the interface will down.
