I am using CISCO : LINKSYS Wireless N-Home Router
Model: WRT120N
I have connected the router to the desktop which has the OS: Windows 7
I went to command prompt and write "ipconfig", then i got the IP(192.168.1.1) of that router. Then i browse the IP and connected to the router.
In the maximum number of users option, i have put "1" by mistakenly and saved it.
At that time it was connected to the internet by using dial-up(i.e. user name & password) option. And it was connected with two client (i.e. one is running Windows 7 and another is running Windows Server 2000).
Problem : Now it showing that the connection is limited or no connection. For that cause, i cannot access the internet via router.
The actions i have taken:
1. Reset the router manually. (above mentioned problem exist)
2. Power off to router and desktop pc and restart them. (above mentioned problem exist)
3. Try to browse to 192.168.1.1 and get the result that unable to connect. (above mentioned problem exist)
Let me know, what should i do.
Thank you

Hello,
I would try the following:
- disconnect all cables
- connect single laptop/PC to LAN port
- check if PC got ip address from touter with ip config
- if not configure that statically (e.g. 192.168.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0)
- then try ping and if works browse to 192.168.1.1 (http://192.168.1.1)
- if nothing helps I suppose router should have reset button - presssing that for about 30 seconds should clear it to default.
this should help to reset:

P.S. it has some other good info.
Hope this hekps,
