Hi,
"I am experiencing an issue using the backspace key while performing a configuration process. The key is unresponsive, preventing me from correcting any configuration errors. Is anyone other facing this same issue?
Is there any workaround for this or this is a bug, there is no release note for this issue.
This is happening in software version 4.1.6.54

I agree with Mark, the keyboard is one of probable causes
second check if other keyboard shortcuts behave normally -> try ctrl-H first

most likely the origin of your problem is not the in the C1300, but the terminal emulator you are using.
check emulation type is set to ANSI or VT and double check backspace behavior
in putty this is configuration -> Terminal -> keyboard
