Dear All,
I have a problem with my Cisco Switch C3650 stack after I added 3rd member into stack, but its role are different as below:
*1 Active 5c83.8f59.0580 15 V02 Ready
2 Standby 5c83.8f2d.4180 14 V02 Ready
3 Member 843d.c69c.a680 13 V03 Ready
Please help to advice me how can I change the 3rd member to Standby role the 2nd one?
Regards,
Phaneath

Hello,
you have to change the priority value of the member switch (currently 13) to 14, and that of the standby switch (currently 14) to 13. Use this command:
switch 2 priority 13
switch 3 priority 14

Hello,
I think I may confused or what that I need to change role on both switch 2 and 3 to standby role. In stack only one switch can be a standby role. Am I correct?

Phaneath,
sorry for the confusion. When you change the priority of switch 3 to 14, it becomes the standby switch. Since switch 2, which is currently the standby switch, has the same priority, you need to lower it to 13, it will then become the member switch.
So basically, when you change the priority on both switches, it will look like this:
*1 Active 5c83.8f59.0580 15 V02 Ready
3 Standby 5c83.8f2d.4180 14 V02 Ready
2 Member 843d.c69c.a680 13 V03 Ready
Does that make sense ?

Hello,
Actually, what I need as below:
*1 Active 5c83.8f59.0580 15 V02 Ready
2 Standby 5c83.8f2d.4180 14 V02 Ready
3 Standby 843d.c69c.a680 13 V03 Ready
Is it possible? But in stack switch standby role can have more than one switch or not? If not, I think I'm confused.
Thanks,

Hello,
you can only have one standby switch in the stack.
