c3750 catalyst and voip

I have a c3750 switch stack that has a voice vlan and will support voip phones.  It is a converged voip where the pc's link to the phones and the phones to the switch.   It is a hosted voip solution where the sip server is not on the local lan - but at the providers network.    I am wanting to know if i will need to route between the default pcl vlan and the voice vlan since 1.)the sip server is not on local network and 2.)if we do not use dhcp to provision the phones - but rather do it with static addressing?

You should not need to route between them as the voice vlan will use the SIP trunk to talk to the provider (hosted service) using dhcp or static IP and data vlan if for your other end devices.
