Hello,

Does anyone know how to configure C6800IA renumbering when C6800IA switches in stack?

I would like to change (see printout below) mod 1 into 2 and vice versa. In case we have Cisco Catalyst 3650 switch stack it can be done easy with changing switch stack number priority and reload.

I found out it can be done, but only trough console access not parent switch.

1.Power ON the 6800IA, without connecting any Stack cables or the uplink connections.
2.Once the IA has booted up, connect the console cable to the IA and renumber the IA switch number to the old IA which has gone using the below steps.
    FEX-0#conf t
    FEX-0(config)#switch 1 renumber 2
