C897VAW-E-K9 poe issue

Dear all,

I have a Cisco C897VAW-E-K9, with this IOS C800-UNIVERSALK9-M, Version 15.7(3)M1, with the power supply LITEON 341-0502-01.

The PoE LED is orange and the PoE doesn't work, I tried several IOS but it doesn't change anything.

Also the cli "show power inline " isn't recognize.

any idea ?

Hello,

how old is the router ? The internal PoE card might be damaged or malfunctioning. If possible, open the chassis and reseat the card (see attached document for instructions):

Post the complete output to the command "sh inventory raw".  I want to see if the PoE daughter card (800-IL-PM-4) is present and if the 125w PSU is used.

To make PoE work you have to have a PoE daughter card installed (not their by default) and a larger 125W power supply.  Have you got both of these?
