Boot the switch into IOS and copy the firmware file from the USB into the flash of the switch.

In enable mode, the command is "copy usbflash0:filename.bin flash:".

Put the firmware into a USB flash drive and use "emergency-install" (go straight to Step 5).

"emergency-install tftp://192.0.2.1/cat3k_caa-universalk9.
 SPA.03.03.00.SE.150-1.EZ.bin"

what is ip address "192.0.2.1" ? i can asign?

If the firmware is in a USB flash drive, then the correct syntax is:  emergency-install usbflash0:filename.bin

I can not use command "emergency-install"

In ROMMON, enter "?" and see what options appear.

Interesting options available.

Try this:  "boot usbflash0:filename.bin".

I boot usbflash0:filename.bin can be used normally. But after reboot switch enter mode 'switch:' again.

Ok, now show me the complete output to the command "set".

I also need the first seven characters of the serial number.

Console into the switch and reboot.

Post the entire bootup process.

NOTE:  DO not post screenshots.

Ok, so the switch boots up successfully.

Now post the complete output to the command "sh boot".
