C9500-32C and 1Gb SFPs

Greetings!

I have been successful in plugging a GLC-SX-MMD (1000Base-SX with DOM) transceiver into a C9500-32C using a CVR-QSFP-SFP10G converter and bringing up a link (including CDP). However, I have been wondering whether operating a port at 1Gb/s has any performance impact on the C9500-32C, either on the whole system or on neighboring ports.

(The connected device is just an RTT probe in a dedicated VLAN and VRF; I won't be feeding in traffic at 100Gb/s with this 1Gb/s probe as its destination.)

Does anyone happen to know the requisite details about the architecture of the C9500-32C?

Thanks in advance!

i do not see any issue here, other than wasting investment of mGig port to gig port. and i believe this is what business requirement(make sense ?)
