C9500 Network Essential Port-Channel Limit

Is it possible that C9500-24Y4C with network-essentials does not support more than 2 port-channel interfaces? I tried to configure a port-channel and it only allowed me to use 0 or 1 as the group number.

 C9500-24Y4C(config)#int twe1/0/11
 C9500-24Y4C(config-if)#channel-group ?
<0-1> Channel group number
auto Enable LACP auto on this interface

 C9500-24Y4CE(config-if)#channel-group
*Oct 17 13:23:32.852: %PARSER-4-BADRANGELONGLONG: Bad range <1-0> for command 'channel-group '
 C9500-24Y4C(config-if)#channel-group

For comparison when I try the same on C9500-40X with network-advantage I can use group numbers from 1 to 126.

C9500-40X(config-if)#channel-group ?
<1-126> Channel group number
auto Enable LACP auto on this interface

C9500-40X(config-if)#channel-group

Must be a bug in the IOS version you are running:

EtherChannel Configuration Guidelines

If improperly configured, some EtherChannel ports are automatically disabled to avoid network loops and other problems. Follow these guidelines to avoid configuration problems:

Hi - I just checked a C9500-24Y4C (17.3.4) and can use 1-128 channel groups (switch is non stackwise).

Switch is network-advantage licensed (used as a BGP router). Channel groups should be the same with network-essentials.
