Can Cisco Nexus vpc works/operation in different NX-OS?

Hi,

We plan to upgrade our Nexus 5000 to latest version. Can we upgrade the Nexus in separate maintenance window which mean we upgrade Nexus Core 1 in week#1 and Nexus Core 2 in week#2?

Any impact on the traffics?

Hi

Yes you can have different images on each Nexus and still retain your VPC domain during upgrades but as best practice when finished you should always try to have identical NX-OS on each device
